I thought the 'Edu' part of Edubuntu was more for primary school-age children? Must check it out! I do prefer the iAudio G3 over the Samsung YP-T6Z, if only for the alarm function, but the reviews about it being flimsy worry me a bit..I want to check it out first in a shop to see exactly how 'flimsy' it is... or find someone who's owned one who can comment! In looking over what your needs are, it seems the iAudio G3 is the better choice of the two. However, the iAudio U3 comes with video...so if that's of interest, then get the U3.
